In elite sport you do not compromise with quality

When during the world championships 2008 in Oberstdorf the ski jumpers slid down the long ramp in perfect aerodynamic form ready to glide through the air, Procom’s radio communication products contributed to making the whole large sports arrangement function frictionless.

The communication equipment to tie the sports festival together was delivered by Killer Electronics who are a specialist in temporary communication systems. These systems are used in connection with sports arrangements especially within skiing where Killer Electronics are specialists and manage radio communication during a long line of large skiing events in Germany.

Procom delivered filters and base station antennas for Killer Electronics communication systems during the ski jump world championships. The system was used for conversations between officials and between security people. And not least for communication between the judges of the championships during voting and measuring of the jumpers’ impressive jumps.
During the championships Killer Electronics set up 10 communication channels, 3 of which were connected to a repeater with Procom components. The control unit of Killer Electronics was also connected to Procom products such as base station antennas, RF filters and diplexers.
In Oberstdorf more than 100 radios were in action at the same time with various tasks to ensure the arrangement to proceed without delays and without security problems.
